Synopsis

Doodled by a dame and passed over by the patriarchy, Sally Salamander was never meant to take center stage.

Her charismatic creator—an uncredited cell-washer with ambitions no studio man would ever approve of—gave her form in the hope she could share her voice.

But when a fire takes her life, Sally awakens in a cartoon realm where Ink ’n’ Paint Pioneers grind for “Star Power,” Rubber Hose Rookies hustle for a few precious frames of screen time, and slapstick serves the highest purpose.
