Kal Finnigan the retired super soldier has been traveling from planet to planet over the past few decades, on the run from his violent past. While settling on a run-down moon colony named Icel, he forms an unlikely friendship with Kiko the hexapod sapien, a bubbly young artificial life form with six arms and a tail.

An ancient alien evil returns to attack the Milky Way. It re-emerges after vanishing thirty years prior during a stalemated war between itself and human kind. After Kal and Kiko accidentally discover the epicenter of the entity’s latest attack, they make it their mission to save humanity before the alien’s parasitic hive mind infects the galaxy. They travel across the dystopian Galactic Union in an effort to make it to Earth before the source of the outbreak reaches the mother world.
