The Sixth Age

One day the Gods had enough, ending the Iron age of Man... The Fifth Age and restored magic to the world, creating the Sixth Age! In this age, the age of magic, the world has been remade and through it all humans serve the Distant Gods.  

Demigods and Legacies now fill the world as do new monsters and lines of power! Gray, a young man free of any divine threads, seeks power to survive and thrive in the world of the Sixth Age. Admitted, somehow just barely avoiding trouble when his focus of magic is discovered, to the Olympia Academy of Magic, he will show that more matters than who your born to.

Starting by surviving and besting the Olympia Trials, the best chance any Threadless could have to matter even if no Threadless had ever managed to survive such attempts...

Meeting Alrick, the Bronze Archer, son of Apollo, his new mentor and ally, he swiftly finds that the path he has chosen is not one so easily traveled by meager mortals...there is a cost to everything and he may never be able to accept the price of access. 

And that Access starts by learning that of all of the gods he could one day bear ties to, his natural path of magic only aligns to one immortal... The Queen Goddess Hera herself. Something he needs when he meets the one person who's mind is a match for him... Lila, his elder sister who like him grew up in perpetual survival, with scars all her own.
