Being a Unique Lifeform is both a blessing and a curse

The Scourge's Embrace is on a mission: find a wood-affinity treasure to cure his nana’s disease and return to her right away. There isn’t one in his realm, but rumor has that Infernum, the human world, is the place to find such item.

To not draw attention to his true form, he transforms into a human and takes the name of Shen: a deceased adventure on the border of Infernum. With his time hunting and studying the way of humans, he believes he will blend in just fine.

Though, Infernum proves to be a charming place. The inhabitants have such unusual expressions, strange behaviors, countless stories and legends, that Shen cannot help but be intrigued. There, humans don’t just use power to kill, but to create as well. From items to weird nests to array symbols, their creativity knows no bound.

In a strange land where he has thought of nothing but a hunting ground before, Shen is about to realize his true power as a Unique Lifeform and climb to the top of the food chain.
