The Drift

Volume One: The Green Zone.

The Drift is the only tech you'll ever need, a neural patch that gives you everything, if you can afford the right version. Elias has the regulated kind: cheap, restricted, same as everyone in his region.

Inside the Drift's virtual arena, The Zone, none of that matters. Just skill, nerve, and a leaderboard that decides who gets to be somebody.

Elias is eighteen, broke, and one win from going pro. Then a black-market breaker named Spike decides the fastest way to control a rising player is to take what he can't afford to lose, his friends.

Now the score isn't about rank. It's about what Elias is willing to sacrifice, inside the game and out, to get them back.

What to Expect:

Genre: Cyberpunk LitRPG with real-world stakes, expect arena fights and leaderboard tension, but also a kidnapping plot that pulls the danger out of the game and into Elias's real life.

Pacing: Fast-moving. Chapters alternate between high-stakes Zone battles and the world outside it. The story doesn't linger long before the next escalation.

Cast: Elias carries the POV, but CJ, Sera, and a tight group of friends get real page time. This is not a solo-grind story.

Tone: Teen, young-adult friendly, no graphic content, though the story does include violence and a kidnapping/blackmail plotline.
