The Binary
Synopsis
"Look, if you’re actually listening to this recording, it means either our emergency broadcast is still looping on a dead frequency, or Section 7 finally cracked my hard drives. Either way... welcome to the shitshow."
My name’s Kaelen Miller. I’m seventeen years old, I’ve got a 150 IQ that mostly just serves to remind me how screwed we are in real-time, and my stepbrother Marcus is a fast-twitch speedster with a massive ego and zero self-preservation instincts.
Up until June of 2026, our biggest daily problem was dealing with our parents’ messy second divorce and surviving the endless rotation of beat-up high schools. Then came Cayo Diablo—a classified aerosol trial on a jagged rock in the middle of nowhere.
It turned us into two halves of an un-stabilized thermodynamic nightmare:
Me ("The Sink"): I absorb kinetic force like a sponge, but without a outlet, the energy turns into boiling thermal heat under my skin. If I absorb too much, my blood literally boils.
Marcus ("The Throttle"): He injects kinetic acceleration to break two hundred miles an hour, but he has to strip thermal energy out of his own cells to do it. If he over-clocks, he drops into instant hypothermia.
We don't have super-suits, bio-stabilizing serums, or cooler-headed adults around to save us. We’re just two teenagers in torn t-shirts, bare feet, and zero gear trying not to freeze or explode while a black-budget syndicate called Section 7 hunts us like rogue test subjects.
Guns jam. Ice creeps across the pavement. This is the raw, unedited log of how two brothers stopped running, broke the agency, and inverted the entire baseline.
