Among Terra’s billions, Lanis Osgell was one of the elite few—a Navigator, a psychic bridge that allowed Fleet’s giant warships to jump between star systems.

Now, suddenly, she is nothing.

Newly broken in a world she was never prepared to re-enter, Lanis must imagine a new future among the planet-side mega corporations and their fierce rivalries. A Navigator, however—even a broken one—is impossible to ignore.

Warning: The first couple chapters do deal with Lanis' relationship with another woman, so fair warning! (But we do get to Armored Suit battles and the horrors of the Warp eventually!)
