Please Ignore the Main Quest

Gaozu's greatest achievement in life was somehow dying by tripping over a wire and face-planting into a door frame. Surely the afterlife would be kinder… right?

Wrong.

After waking up in a fantasy game world, he's immediately rejected by the overpowered protagonist's body, roasted nonstop by his own System, and every monster, ghost, and animal within a five-mile radius has collectively decided he looks delicious.

Gaozu's dream is simply to survive one day without being bullied by the local wildlife, the undead, or the sarcastic voices living in his head.

Unfortunately for him, there is an entire village putting its hope of survival on his shoulders. Cursed with the inability to ignore people in trouble, Gaozu ends up training both himself and a bunch of hopeless NPCs into something that can actually survive this nightmare. One level, one disaster, and one near-death experience at a time.

Now if the game world would kindly stop shoving him toward the main quest that would be really nice.

He is not the protagonist here!
