Yui's life ended the night she was saved by the Magical Girl Starlight. From then onwards, she was no longer just an ordinary girl trudging through every single day. She had become obsessed, spending every single waking moment thinking of the girl who lived in a completely different world, thinking she was doomed to only be allowed to watch from the outside.

So when one of the Magical Familiars offers Yui a chance to step into that world, a chance to see her precious Starlight again, it is an offer almost too good to be true.

Only one small problem. The offer is for her to enter that world from the other side, to become an Apostle, sworn enemy of the Magical Girls.

Still, who cares if she is siding with the monsters that wish to plunge the world into eternal darkness, as long as it will give her the undivided attention of the only person in it that matters?
