A lady should be gentle, poised, demure in her demeanour and as delicate as a rose freshly sparsed by morning dew-

BAM!

“My lady! Please calm down!” Echoed the voice of the Lady’s Companion.

Said Lady had slammed her hands on her tea table in frustration, “calm? I have remained calm for too long Myrtille! This makes it the 7th one! Seventh! Can you imagine it?!”

“Exactly My Lady! It is only the 7th one! Maybe the 8th one will be the charm?” Myrtille suggested with an unsure tone.

“You do not even believe your own words, Myrtille! No! This has gone far enough. Where is father? I must discuss this with him right away! If I have to suffer through another one of those ‘matching sessions’ it shall drive me out of my mind!” Having said so, Lady Cécille gathered her skirts and hastily walked away to hunt down her Dear father.

Poor Myrtille had to scramble to follow her all while still trying to calm her down.

Ahem!

To resume a Lady must be gentle, poised, demure etc.....

Unless the Lady’s simply had enough.

Then one must brace oneself for a storm.
