An Ordinary Story

After failing to live a normal life, Taka decides to start over.

Transferring into his second year at Hōrai Metropolitan High School, he makes a simple decision:

He will no longer allow his environment to control him.

Instead, he will gain every form of strength available to him—physical, intellectual, emotional, and social—and become powerful enough to overcome any obstacle.

He does not need to be the best at everything.

He only needs to become good at enough things.

But as Taka begins navigating the school’s competitive hierarchy, ambitious students, hidden conflicts, and increasingly complicated relationships, his attempt to build the perfect future may lead him somewhere far beyond the ordinary life he originally wanted.

After all, this is the story of an abnormal student trying to live an ordinary life.

An Ordinary Story is a psychological school drama about ambition, strategy, growth, relationships, and the different ways people perceive the same world.
