Heir of Gluttony

Fate is a fickle thing.

Mir is a seventeen-year-old demon boy living at A human village at the edge of Za'lim. He has no family and no future. He is unwanted and worth precisely as much as the scraps left at his door. But, one day, his village burns, and he is forced to come out of the villages.

He doesn't know what to do or where to go. However, he gets swept out by a Paladin who forces him to follow her.

What he doesn't know is that he was marked before he was born. That a high priest once read an oracle and a demon emperor decided, quietly, that Mir should never exist long enough to fulfil it. He doesn't know any of this yet. He will... eventually.

Born as the abandoned son of the Demon King of Gluttony, Mir is about to stumble into a world which he wished he never knew.

Slow burn (Expect Mir to grow naturally)

Dark (No sexual violence. Only gore, slavery and other things.)

Weak to OP (It will take time. Mir has a long ladder to climb.)

Political scheming (Nobody can trust a noble.)

Morally complex characters (No 2D-ish ness. Characters on either side of morality will feel like real people)
