Foreign Intervention

Foreign Intervention is a science fiction novel about a lone alien AI stowing away with Terrans come to explore its home planet. While our anorganic protagonist was simply looking for some construction materials, a nice spot with wireless and some secret cutting edge technology on the side, the Terrans have other ideas.

Drawn into the conflict between a biogenic syndicate and the UN space fleet, it teams up with the scientist Irena Licheli to prevent widespread destruction on Terra. Hunted by the very forces it seeks to support, it does its best to keep the Terrans from sharing its creators fate. 

Over the course of the book, the unlikely allies grow closer, developing friendship of a sort. While Qumis is contantly struggling to keep itself from running out of energie or having its true nature discovered, Irena has her own secrets to keep.
