Fog Harbor never truly sleeps.

Beneath its rain-washed glass towers and crowded old streets, anomalies travel through dreams, recordings, abandoned buildings, ritual paper effigies, and the names people trust to mean someone.

Joey runs Nighttime Dream Counseling, a discreet office for problems ordinary therapists cannot touch. To her clients, she is an independent exorcist. To the city’s Grey Tower, she is an unlicensed and potentially dangerous variable. To the black market, she is both a customer and a commodity.

Armed with a silver knife, red thread, coarse salt, and a ruthless understanding of anchors, Joey takes cases born from desire, memory, guilt, and grief. The anomalies she hunts rarely break down doors. They offer comfort first: a perfect lover, a life without pain, a familiar voice promising one more chance.

Only after they are invited in do they begin collecting their price.

Each case draws Joey deeper into the uneasy struggle among independent exorcists, the Grey Tower, and those who profit from contamination.

Then an anomaly speaks the true name she buried.
