Ein'Kaar

In the frozen wilds of the north, young Einar has known only exile. His rare crimson eyes, feared as the mark of a demon child, have made him an outcast among his own people. Only his mother's love and his little sister's laughter keep the darkness of that isolation at bay.

But being an outcast was not his greatest curse.

Each night, Einar is dragged into the memories of a warrior he has never met, a man who fought battles he did not live and loved a woman he has never seen. At first, the visions feel like dreams. Then they begin to bleed into his waking hours, sharpening his instincts, guiding his hands, whispering in his mind long after he wakes. Slowly, the warrior's past begins to consume his present, until Einar can no longer tell where the stranger ends and he begins.

When the truth behind these haunting echoes finally comes to light, Einar is faced with a choice that will define not only his fate, but the fate of everyone he loves.
