Synopsis

In a country where the law stops working long before it stops existing, two twelve-year-old boys bury the people they love and make a promise the world is going to make them keep far too soon.

Rakuyami Hishiro has been the top student in his class since he could hold a pencil, and nobody, not his teachers, not his parents, not even his best friend, knows about the plans he's already drafting to dismantle a system built to fail people like them. Kujino Maki lost his grandmother to a robbery gone wrong and gained a new family in the same week. Together they swear to become Servants of Justice. Neither of them knows yet what that promise is going to cost.
