BAD THINGS HAPPEN

Marcus Cole loses everything the ordinary way. Because a pattern that clear isn't free. It costs him the line between the father who loves his daughter and the thing coldly clocking the coached half-second delay in her voice on the phone. It costs him any certainty that the voice narrating his own thoughts is entirely his own. And somewhere out there, another man was given the exact same gift and decided the only cure for what he sees is a body count, one death that looks perfectly natural at a time.

Bad Things Happen is a slow-burn psychological thriller about what it actually costs to see the machine you've been living inside your whole life, and whether clarity and losing your mind were ever really two different things.
