At the Altar of Dragons

Maire North, a human woman trained as a ranger and acolyte of Bahamut, the Platinum Dragon, has been tasked with a mission--liberate those being corrupted and enslaved by the Cult of Tiamat. She bonded to a draconic spirit that took the shape of a small emerald green drake named Goose, and the pair set off, traveling from the Cloud Peak Mountains into Faerûn. Along the way, she connected up with a party of adventurers that shared a similar mission to dismantle the cult across the continent. 

Now with additional travel companions, Maire must balance her sworn duty, her devotion to Bahamut and the cause with learning through mistakes, imperfect human emotions, and discovering just how deep the cult has infiltrated the continent and her own life. 

She will be challenged, tested, and deceived as she continues this fight to discover who she truly is, what she believes, and who she can trust. Her world will be tipped upside down, veils will be lifted, lies will be exposed, and Maire will battle her way through it all with the same grit and determination she's always had. 

Based on an ongoing Dungeons and Dragons campaign, this story is unfolding in real time, and I am documenting it in narrative form as me and my group play out this campaign. All of the actions in this story are played out in real time and improv'd by me, five of my friends, and our game master.
