14 Years 4 Months
Synopsis
Fourteen years. Four months.
That is the only message Dr. Neal Holt receives after activating a machine designed to send information backward through time.
The prototype appears to fail, leaving Neal with damaged equipment, a splitting headache, and a fragment of someone else’s memories.
Convinced they are warnings from the future, Neal devotes himself to deciphering them. But proof is difficult to provide, and the more desperately he tries to make people listen, the more he loses.
As the fourteen-year mark approaches, Neal must determine what the visions are trying to prevent and whether the final number is a deadline, a warning, or the measure of something lost.
Told through recovered audio recordings, 14 YEARS / 4 MONTHS is a science-fiction tragedy about grief, obsession, and the terrible difference between predicting the future and understanding it.
