Synopsis

[I was reborn after being murdered because of the true wish that I made for revenge against all human-peoples, but now I’m alive again and I actually just kind of don’t want to do that anymore; so I opened a shoe-store instead!]

Mirabelle was murdered by humans and elves… And with her last breath, she made a true wish for revenge. Ancient powers answered. She was reborn centuries later with dangerous magic.

But the people who killed her are long gone. So is her forest. And Mirabelle, once a furious fairy with nothing left to lose, now just wants one thing: a peaceful life.

Hiding in the bustling human capital where fairies are little more than myths, she struggles to survive in a world that moved on without her. Until she discovers an unexpected talent and an unexpected hope when she becomes a secret apprentice to a shoemaker.

As she crafts boots in the shadows, the old contract of her rebirth waits, patient and merciless. The power meant for vengeance still coils inside her. The dark stars still expect payment.

Now Mirabelle must decide: will she give in to the rage she was reborn to carry, or carve out a gentler fate for herself in a world that never wanted her?

A slow-paced, emotional LitRPG about healing, crafting, and choosing who you want to become. For readers who enjoy quiet character journeys and cosy progression.
