Summary: Set in the not-so distant future in the latter half of the 21st century, a second civil war broke out in America between the New Union (NU) and the Neo Confederacy (NC) over control of the continent. Sierra-7, a humanoid cybernetic assassin and the last survivor of project Sigma Prime finds herself on the losing side as the NU unleash a powerful new weapon to win the decades-long war. She barely escapes with her life but is captured by NU forces yet manages to hide the fact that she is a cyborg and swears to find the secrative 'tech massiah' of the NU and either convert or neutralise him to turn the tide of the war. At the slave auction, she is sold to an elderly man named Damian Bexter, a cynical drunk who seemingly finds no joy in life and shows disdain towards humans and robots alike. Now stuck together, the two must figure out how to manage their awkward new relationship all while Sierra-7 strives to maintain her secret identity and find the man responsible for countless deaths.
