Split Decision

Humanity had long reached the stars and begun spreading out in the galaxy, yet it never truly changed. The insatiable lust and greed, the need to have more, and the want to crush those who oppose them are still very much present deep in the human soul, just as much as they were thousands of years ago while they were still confined to a tiny planet. Even in a time like this, where the four major factions controlling the known galaxy are at peace, it is all but an illusion. Conflict never sleeps; it only binds its time, waits until it can return to bring forth unspeakable cruelty which it craves so much.

In such times, lives the 28-year-old Amelia Raleck (Ember System). A woman who was selected to be a part of a secret project to turn her into a specter. She went through unspeakable horrors as she was broken down both body and mind in order to rebuild her better, stronger, faster, and grant her abilities beyond normal human means. In this process, her mind split into several different personalities, which she now has to live with.

After leaving her previous position as a member of special forces, she joined the organization called Tarpas. An intergalactic agency specialized in solving problems. Be it bounty hunting, protecting important people, rescue, or recovery, it doesn’t matter. They deal in almost everything within certain legal limits. As their agent, Amelia took on a wide variety of jobs where her skillset could shine.

In one such mission, she was tasked with rescuing the 20-year-old young genius Zoey Essar. This one mission drastically changed their lives, as they were now intertwined by fate. To help Zoey with her work, both of them will go through things they never thought they would ever experience, as they both walk down the path to figure out things most would never even think about.
