Sparkheart: Recall the Rebirth

This story is separated into for parts, for each character. The structure is presented like so:

Almost the entirety of the story follows this formula, so hopefully, that is not too off-putting. But now for the actual description:

Fragments of memories from other worlds, other times. Doomed to remain eternally unexplained. How long must the pain be endured? 
For years, Sear has been plagued by broken memories, strange feelings, and bizarre events. And no matter where he looked, never was there an answer in sight. Where did they come from? What even were they? Still, he accepted his fate. But long after he had given up hope, he gains the faculty to wield mysterious powers. Could those possibly help his quest for answers?

Slowly, subtly being rejected. Wondering what went wrong. Perhaps the problem lay within self. 
Midnight could never determine when it happened, but things just are not the same with her friends. And after an even more severe falling out, she gets transported to another world. But though she feels she is done with friendship after this, she meets someone... someone who just might change her mind. Someone to help her start seeing friendship the way she used to… the way it was supposed to be.

Being absolutely depraved... and relishing every moment. And yet, was this how things always were? What could be the reason for the change? 
Sub does not care. She never cared. What could be wrong with having a little fun? It was just the way she chose to live. As long as what she did felt good, what reason could there be for doing anything different? A question with an answer that might surprise her...

Time is running out. The darkness must be stopped, and order restored. Will the power of one be sufficient? Time will tell. 
Strider's strength and knowledge have always been more than sufficient to handle most things. Indeed, nothing in the physical realms could truly match his vast experience. But things are changing. The forces against him grow in power, employing increasingly cunning tactics to destroy all he was meant to protect. Perhaps, for the first time, he will not be enough to prevent the coming storm. But then, what will?

Sparkheart. Four tales, told in parallel. And yet... perhaps they have more in common than one might think.
