Synopsis

Claudella Attophel has spent her entire life along the shores of Terenesis, where the marble streets of Olympus disappear beneath the waves and Nereids are the locals.

The sea has always felt like home to her. Until the cove she once loved starts decaying.

As more she digs deeper, Claudella becomes convinced that something beneath Terenesis is changing. Her suspicions soon settle on the newly arrived Cylyre family, whose interest in the coast may be far from innocent. But with little evidence and even fewer people willing to listen, Claudella is left to investigate alone, or so she thought.

What she discovers may be larger than even she thought possible, and far older than the new strangers who have come to town.

If Claudella cannot uncover what is poisoning the tides, then this may only be the beginning.
