Synopsis

Lorcan Cardinal is a human from Earth, mistreated and miserable. Then to cap it off he is ground zero to an incursion from another world, taken prisoner, forcibly turned into a dungeon core, and driven half-insane.

When you're in the gutter the only way is up.

With nothing to lose, he turns the tables on fate, twists the shackles that were supposed to bind him and takes control of his own destiny.

However, he finds himself a sphere in the heart of an unknown city. Establishing himself as a traditional dungeon might make him a tad...conspicuous.

Instead, he opts for urban camouflage. Running an arena belonging to a House of dark elves fallen low. A place where the denizens of the Sunless Empire can partake in violent sporting spectacles that have more to do with hurting others than scoring points.
