The Offending Factor
Synopsis
In a world where abstract concepts take physical form, beings known as Personifications walk among humanity as living embodiments of forces such as Cutting, Speed, Control, and Chaos.
Each possesses extraordinary abilities, but their full power can only be unleashed through a bond with a human capable of accepting everything they represent. Such unions grant power beyond imagination—but they also bind human and Personification together, forcing them to share their desires, weaknesses, and existence.
Some humans seek these bonds for strength. Others for freedom, revenge, or survival. And some Personifications are willing to do anything to find the perfect host.
Caym Alexander wanted nothing to do with their world. But when fate binds him to a Personification no human was ever meant to accept, he is dragged into a conflict where control over his own body, mind, and future can no longer be taken for granted.
There is no breaking the bond.
And if Caym cannot learn to live with what now exists inside him, neither of them may survive.
