In 1340, Sir Thomas Litton returns from the battlefields of the Hundred Years' War to find his manor in ashes and his family gone. For nine years, he follows a cold trail of vengeance that eventually leads him to the hallowed grounds of Glastonbury Abbey. But Thomas is not the only one searching; the power-hungry William Devereux has desecrated King Arthur’s tomb to steal an ancient medallion he believes will lead him to Excalibur’s invincible scabbard and the reclamation of a lost throne.
