Synopsis

This story i wrote over a year ago when i was still new its unaltered. Derbyshire, 1346. Sophia is fifteen, poor, and used to hunger — days spent hauling water, mending clothes, and dreaming of a life beyond the narrow paths allowed to a girl in her position. She has no way of knowing that a single knock at the door is about to tear that life apart forever.

Torn from her family and thrown into a fate she never chose, Sophia is forced to navigate a world of power, cruelty, and survival far beyond anything she imagined — one where the only way out may be to become someone she never intended to be. Meanwhile, the brothers she left behind refuse to let her go without a fight.

A story of loss, ambition, and what a person is willing to become when survival and power start to look like the same thing.
