Return of the Primordial [Magus]
Synopsis
A girl Isekais into her maxxed-out MMO character. A (mainly) light-hearted tale of her re-emergence into the world hundreds of years after the end of the game, as the world moves on to the next phase of its development. Heavily inspired by ArcaneCadence's "New Life as a Max Level Archmage", and Dee Elle's "Melia the Magnificent".
Blurb:
Lily was bedridden at a young age. Unable to move for the last two years of her life, her only solace in life was her favorite VRMMORPG: "Ascension Online". Considering she had absolutely no responsibilities beyond the arbitrary schedule her nurses kept her to, she played as much as humanly possible. Maxxing every class, completing every quest, gathering every item... those were all done within her first year of playing. It wasn't until the game released Grand-tier classes that she finally had a goal that she could work towards for a decent amount of time. Of course, while lengthy, that grind eventually ended as well. It was with excitement and despair that she awaited the final expansion. She knew the game would have to eventually end, and she would only be able to grind for More Grand classes... Even Lily wasn't looking forward to that grind.
Of course, she did not expect that when logging in to fight the last boss of the game's last dungeon, she would instead transmigrate into her avatar's body!
She was also not at all prepared for that Lich's last resort. An attempt to take her body for its own.
While unused to moving, let alone fighting, she isn't completely without hope. Her avatar's consciousness seems to still be around, and it is more than happy to help. It may take a bit of time to learn, but Lily was confident that she would beat the damed soul. She had the home-field advantage after all! On top of that, familiar memories had started to pop up in her head, though from a slightly different perspective.
She just hoped that it wouldn't take too long to eject the invader from her very soul. The fact that its strength kept growing was worrisome, but she would come out on top in the end...
*************************
The first 4-5 chapters can almost be considered a prologue. They foreshadow many future plot points and introduce some of the core mechanics of the magic system.
What to expect:
OP-MC: Heavily inspired by "Melia the Magnificent", "New Life as a Max Level Archmage", and " Critical Roleplay: I Min-Maxed For Endgame, Not Flavor" as well as others.
Primarily Cozy, slice-of-life style chapters, with some serious scenes in the mix
Progression!
MC has Peers!
Trippy multi-dimensional soul stuff
Numbers! That go up!
PoV chapters all feature the MC. Mainly to show how insanely OP she is.
Some darker scenes... they won't be too long or common
A simple seeming magic system, with a lot of intricacies behind the scenes.
What not to expect:
Serious romance
Inconsistent strength. It may not always be obvious, but every confrontation has math behind it!
Unexplainable magic stuff - even the isekai has a magic-system-consistent explanation behind it!
