Eli Hart dies trying to save one more person.

He wakes beneath two moons in Aurelion, a world where the dead sometimes arrive from places that have never heard its name.

They are called Outworlders, but they are not chosen heroes. Eli receives no prophecy, legendary class, or special advantage. Only temporary shelter, a few supplies, and the chance to begin again at Rank One.

In Aurelion, everything can grow: people, animals, weapons, forests, even storms. Its silent System offers no quests or experience points. It does not grant strength. It recognizes the transformation already earned through challenge, failure, and change.

Then Eli meets Molly Park, another Outworlder who died in the same earthquake. Molly is intelligent, cautious, and determined to rely on no one. Eli acts before he thinks and cannot walk away when someone needs help.

They understand each other less than either would like.

They are also the only pieces of home the other has left.

Together, they must find their place in a vast living world while ancient places stir, the wilderness grows restless, and long-held truths begin to fracture.

Because in Aurelion, victory does not make you stronger.
