Mori

Everyone has secrets. Everyone has a locked door, or two. Maybe three?

As far as Lastleaf Tussock is concerned, doors are no bar to him. Secrets tumble into his Harengon hand as quick and easy as blinking. As  the city of Tarosan’s finest, and only, journalist, Lastleaf makes his living sniffing out things people would much rather hide. 

A chance meeting with a group of adventurers new to town, has him begrudgingly setting sail to procure desperately needed medical supplies for the city. What follows is a tale as old as time, and Lastleaf will find himself dragged kicking and screaming into conspiracies, running from necromancer cults, breaking up slavery rings, and dimension hopping to find long-lost family members.
The above list is far from exhaustive.

Join a motley gathering of unlikely companions as they unravel mysteries wrapped in enigmas and become a thorn in the side of every person on the ‘evil’ alignment spectrum.
But we cannot forget, everyone has secrets, and Lastleaf is no exception.

One way or another, the world will learn that even a little Harengon can cast a long, dark shadow.

Mori is the web-serial/novelisation of an ongoing Dungeons and Dragons campaign, told through the eyes of Lastleaf, the party’s Harengon Rogue.
As I am a player rather than the DM, I do not know where this story will go! I am an excessive note-taker, however, so I use the notes to turn the campaign into a web-serial.
