Necromancer Rules
Synopsis
For over a century, the five kingdoms of Pentus were trapped in constant war, leaving countless lives lost to greed and ambition. Everything changed when the Pentagram Cult, a powerful organization specializing in necromancy, rose to power. Instead of seeking conquest, the cult ended the endless bloodshed by replacing human armies with undead forces and establishing strict laws to regulate dark magic.
Supported by the magic towers and the Lunaris Church, necromancy gradually became accepted throughout the continent. Human corpses were forbidden from being used, safer forms of dark magic were developed, and a new system was created to govern both dark mages and their creations.
Among the five kingdoms, the northern kingdom of Artivice flourished the most. Once plagued by harsh winters, monster attacks, and a lack of manpower, the kingdom transformed with the help of undead labor. Skeletons worked in dangerous mines, gathered resources during deadly blizzards, and helped build a prosperous nation in the frozen north.
Now, after a century of peace, the people of Pentus have grown accustomed to a world shaped by necromancy. Yet beneath the prosperity and stability, whispers of hidden secrets and ancient dangers have begun to spread, threatening to disturb the fragile balance that has kept the continent at peace for generations.
