Synopsis

After the devastating attack of the Dark Legion, Nicholas Blackwood finally awakens from a month-long coma. The kingdom has changed and so have the people around him. Once just a human boy who fell into a realm of magic alongside his bully, Hunter Johnson, Nicholas now carries a heavy weight. Whispers follow him. Some look at him with gratitude, while others with blame.

New faces emerge. Old secrets awaken. As tensions rise and unseen forces begin to move, Nicholas must confront not only the aftermath of war, but the growing power inside him. However, instead of the rising political tension between the kingdoms, instead of the buried horrors coming back to life, instead of the barely-held balance of the world, Nicholas's greatest foe lies within.
