Iris Morgan is an agent of Elmswood. Trained in the shadows, and driven by a past she can't escape. But when the treaty that has kept peace in Irendor for 150 years nears its end, Valdrid, Elmswood's greatest enemy, starts to take action.

Sent to uncover Valdrid's intentions, Iris discovers a conspiracy far larger than she expected — a kingdom divided against itself, with two courts vying for power and a war brewing beneath the surface. To stop the conflict, she must return to Valdrid, walking into the heart of enemy territory with nothing but a forged identity and a mission she can't afford to fail.

Navigating a world of dangerous politics, shifting alliances, and hidden agendas, Iris finds herself caught between revenge and something far more dangerous — forbidden feelings she never expected. As tensions rise and the kingdom teeters on the edge of war, she must choose between the mission she was sent to complete and the one thing she never planned to find.
