My System's Name is Symbiot
Synopsis
Crystallia: The native planet where a multitude of people, suffering from the consequences of overpopulation and forceful servitude on Earth, migrated via a gravitational slipstream between worlds.
It was believed that such a feat was impossible and that a normal human being would not survive the ordeal. But gravity remains one of the most unpredictable physical phenomena in the universe. During the era of the transatlantic slave trade, a supersized galaxy known as Redromida collided with the Milky Way. While the stars themselves did not touch, the impact of the giant planet Crystallia—a world as massive as Jupiter—shattered the orbit of the Earth.
The resulting astronomical disasters broke the very concept of human civilization. For two and a half years, a stable gravitational pathway opened between the worlds. The great migration began after travelers who crossed by accident returned with glad tidings of fertile land, greener pastures, and a safe haven from the power of European slave traders. By the time the oppressors discovered the path and planned their pursuit, the slipstream collapsed, severing the link between Earth and Crystallia forever.
The refugees—primarily from West Africa, Central Asia, and the indigenous peoples of the Americas—had barely settled into their new home when Crystallia’s natural immune system triggered. Monstrous entities known as the Ẹbọras emerged, intent on wiping out the humanity that dared call this planet home. To survive, mankind adapted. They harnessed the planet's unique crystal energy, tilled the soil, and erected massive walled shelters. Over generations, exposure to the crystal energy and the breathable, non-oxygen atmosphere altered human biology, triggering a new evolution.
Thus, the cycle of the new world began.
In modern-day Lagos, Nigeria, a young man named Adewale is brutally killed. Yet, by divine intervention, his soul is reincarnated into the harsh, evolved reality of Crystallia. Thrust into a corrupt society where the powerful prey upon the weak, Adewale is forcefully conscripted into the military forces of the Lagos Shelter.
Armed with an ability initially deemed useless, he must forge a path toward survival. Alongside a group of trusted allies, Adewale embarks on a high-stakes quest to seize control of the Lagos Shelter and end the corruption threatening its people. But the hunger of greedy men knows no bounds, and their desperate scramble for power is about to plunge the shelter into a brutal war of savagery and destruction.
Accompanied by his closest companion—a mysterious entity that calls itself Symbiot—Adewale's journey toward the peak begins.
