The Promised Continent
Synopsis
Welcome to San Lumevalis!
Every inch of this city, from the pavement to the… sky, was constructed exclusively for the students of Vermillio Academy. Feloria and her classmates wake up in this pristine utopia with absolutely no memory of how they arrived. Left with no other choice, they try to settle in. They form bonds, navigate dormitory life, and attempt to find a normal rhythm.
The administration is preparing an Entrance Exam with conditions the students are definitely not going to like. Not to mention the glaring question of why a simple academy requires a security force of heavily armored legionnaires armed with neon halberds. Behind the sterile walls, cosmic horrors pull the strings, and the faculty will gladly crush a student to maintain absolute order.
The story unfolds through the eyes of several protagonists, shifting perspectives to show different sides of the city. It takes its time, prioritizing a heavy atmosphere and deep lore. Early on, both the characters and the premise itself might seem like your typical academy stereotypes. But the further the story progresses, the more it breaks away from those familiar tropes, transforming the initial setup into something deeply curious, unpredictable, and entirely its own.
