Synopsis
In a kingdom at war, 17-year old Prince Markeo has always lived in the shadow of his beloved older brother, Prince Andreo. While Andreo is celebrated as the kingdom's fearless heir, Markeo is dismissed as a dreamer more interested in books and ancient legends than the art of war.
When Andreo is killed protecting him on the battlefield, Markeo refuses to accept his brother's fate. Armed with nothing but an ancient map and the promise of an old legend, he sets out to find the last dragon and claim its legendary tears - the only thing said to bring the dead back to life.
But beyond the borders of Aeldaron, the world is far different than the stories he grew up believing. As old myths begin to unravel and dangerous truths come to light, What begins as a desperate quest to save his brother soon becomes a journey that will change the fate of an entire kingdom... just not in the way Markeo ever imagined.
