Synopsis

Protect my sister.

That’s all that ever mattered to me. Come hell or high water, I’d do anything if it meant my sweet little sister could have just one more day of a peaceful life. Anything.

There was just one issue—I was burning the candle at both ends. Between my double-life as a villainous Anarch and a member of the heroic Guardians, my days were becoming more and more chaotic. That wasn’t even the worst part. I hadn’t gotten to the anomalies yet.

Every day was a balancing act just to keep breathing. Lying to my friends, hunting monsters, and keeping my sister smiling—it was tiring enough just trying to fall asleep, let alone everything else. I didn’t have a choice, though. Never really did. If I played my cards just right, a better life might just be in sight.
