Taria kills people for fun, but only if they're deplorable human beings and it pays well.

Surviving her parents' brutal murder left Taria with few choices. Her alchemical ability with poisons was as close to magic as the world possessed and made the Assassin's Guild the perfect place to bide her time.

Life as an assistant alchemy teacher and coveted assassin was generally good until an ambush went wrong. An ambush where Taria wasn't the instigator, but the victim. She'd experienced enough death in her life that her desperation to live surprised her.
