Synopsis

The Lightdown Colonies were built on lies.

There are ten worlds that orbit "The Light", six are alive and four are dead.

That is the official story. The truth is something else entirely.

Rulers of the living worlds are called 'Lords'. Four worlds are dead, and above each one sits a massive prison station which the 6 lords have decided upon. The prisoners inside are sent down to those dead worlds every single day to gather whatever the Lords need to keep the other six worlds running.
