A Siren's Call - A HWFWM inspired story

Earth was never supposed to know about the wider cosmos, let alone survive it. But years after the dimensional crises that nearly tore the planet apart, Earth has stabilized into a strange new normal. The magic that flooded the world didn't recede; it settled. Now, Essence users and Monsters are no longer hidden in the shadows—they are the new global normal, navigating a world of magic, untamed astral zones, and the lingering legacy of the man who broke their reality to save them.

Nineteen-year-old Ame has never seen a real sky. She has spent her entire life inside a retrofitted, high-tech astral space bunker, hidden away from a changing Earth that survived the cosmic crises of the past. To Ame, reality is a world of reinforced alloy walls, automated hydroponic bays, and the steady, hum of a mana locked aperture. But the bunker isn't just a sanctuary—it’s a training ground.

Ame’s mother is dying, afflicted by a rare sickness and time is running out. Ame’s decides to enlist into the bunker's essence training; she must awaken her soul, claim her Essences, and survive the brutal training required to become an elite Essence user. Only by stepping into the dangerous, magic-soaked outside world can she hunt down the rare materials and high-rank healing magic needed to cure her mother.
