Synopsis

For some, memory is a luxury. Forgetting is a punishment carved into the marrow of their bones.

Lin Che can rewind time — but every time he does, he races faster toward his own death.

Three years ago, he turned back the clock three hundred and sixty-five days to save a girl who didn't belong in this timeline. He burned through his own "existence" to keep her alive, and lost every last one of his memories in the process.

Three years later, he keeps seeing a figure with a red umbrella in reflections.

A secret organization finds him and tells him the girl isn't dead. She's trapped in the cracks of time — and every time they meet, both their lives burn a little faster.

He remembers.

But the return of his memories uncovers a crueler truth: that car accident was no accident. It was meant for her.

Someone wants Shen Naitang dead. And it all started with a "time fold" Lin Che accidentally triggered when he was twelve years old.

Beneath the city of Linzhou lies a "Second Anchor" counting down to zero. If it activates, time across the entire city will shatter into fragments.

He has thirty days.

As he repairs one hundred watches, he evolves from an amnesiac who brute-forced time rewinds into a watchmaker who can dismantle a temporal logic lock in half a millisecond.

And it's not just his lover trapped in the cracks of time he needs to save. It's his father too — stuck deep inside a clockwork mechanism for twenty-three long years.

Thirty days. A crisis he set in motion himself is about to devour an entire city.

And the only ones who can stop it are her, trapped in the cracks; his father, stuck in the clockwork; and the pair of tweezers he's held for half his life.
