Synopsis

I wrote this world.

Every kingdom, every betrayal, every body on the battlefield — I plotted it all in a Tokyo apartment at 2 AM, eating convenience store rice balls, thinking wow, this scene is dramatic.

Then an NPC I gave four lines of dialogue shot me in a forest outside the city. And I woke up as Sebastian Blackwell — Crown Prince of the Blackwell Empire. The protagonist of my own novel.

I have forty chapters memorized. Every political backstab, every ally who becomes an enemy, every death I wrote with careful, deliberate intent. I know exactly when the Shastrin army crosses the northern border. I know who's feeding them information. I know which girl in my inner circle is a spy.

There's one problem.

Someone is rewriting my story.

The Shastrins were supposed to be cold, calculated political operators — human cruelty with a human face. Not flesh-eating monsters with war axes and dragons. The timeline is wrong. Factions I built over three months of plotting are behaving like they never read my outline.

And at the center of it all is Seiryu Nexus — the NPC I invented for political texture — who appears to have opinions about my manuscript.

My best friend from Tokyo is now my right-hand man, in love with a girl I wrote to die. The girl I designed to betray me is looking at me like she means it. The villain I created has seen the future and is sending me warning letters through inn windows at midnight.

I wrote a political tragedy.

I just didn't expect to have to live inside it.
