Synopsis

He was a King that lead into battle and slaughtered countless armies, rising his kingdom through intellect and swordsmanship alone. At the end of his life, despair and regret clung around his heart like sharp teeth. But before his Death, his mind was filled with happiness after crowning his son as the new King.

Trailing into the forest and meeting his death, an odd voice speaks to him.

“No, child. This is no afterlife.”

Then, he was born into his new life.

One where survival was the only dream of the people who live in it. Beasts roamed the world, ones filled by a mysterious energy called 'essence' that empowered them. Human's shared this power. Instead of fighting back, the beasts were only a secondary enemy against themselves. Kingdoms were built and Clan's were formed, all in the name of power. They fought. For land, resources, for life.

Being born into this world, Agnus had no choice but to live with his wretched soul and protect his family that he grew to cherish, all while reclaiming his destiny as a King.
