Synopsis

Ark is a man with almost no memory of his past life who wakes up in a world of talking horse people, armed with nothing but an anomalous phone and an attitude problem.

He nearly died to a wooden wolf on his first day in this world.

Over a year later, he's throwing miniature suns at a chaos god.

Somewhere in between, Ark figured out that science is magic's cheat code in a world that hasn't invented the microscope, carved flight and demigod strength directly into his own body and soul using forgotten magic and modern knowledge, built sentient golems out of carbon Nanotubes, adopted a genius mouse named Lilith who may be planning a coup, struck a deal with an over thousand-year-old predatory textbook made of skin, accidentally became biologically immortal and said "cool," started a cult to a giant radioactive lizard god, and is beginning to fall in love with a group of woman and literal goddesses who saw through every wall he built around his heart and decided to just move in and wait.

Self-assurances that he is, in fact, not a furry be damned.

He also has the ex-girlfriend of the chaos god living in his head. She tried to enslave him. It didn't work. She's still there. It's a whole thing.

None of that is the scary part.

The scary part is what answered when that chaos god screamed into the void between worlds. A shadow that devoured an entire reality and is hungry for another. A goddess of discord from a neighboring universe with an army of her own kind and a cage with Ark's name on it. A version of Twilight Sparkle who watched her friends die one by one across decades of immortality and decided she'd rather build new ones than grieve the old. And somewhere beyond the edges of what anyone knows, in a universe where the ponies aren't ponies at all but physical embodiments of fundamental reality playing an eternal game across the death and rebirth of existence itself, something very old and very powerful just noticed the board got bigger.

Pony Satan is also, apparently, a thing, and he plans to invade from Tartarus, an army of fallen angels and demons at his back.

Because of course he is.

The world is bigger on a scale that essentially no one in Equestria has any reference for. The universe is even bigger than that. There are elder gods watching from the spaces between worlds. The next universe over, connected to Equis through a certain magical mirror, has a Foundation that tends to put gods in boxes and throw away the key. There is a war older than time between the light that made reality and the darkness that wants to unmake it.

And a human who shouldn't exist just stumbled onto that battlefield carrying a phone full of the accumulated knowledge of a species that split atoms before it learned the simple fact that Friendship is Magic.

He wasn't built for this. He's going to do it anyway.

What to expect:

A multiverse story. This story will heavily involve integrating multiple works of media into a (hopefully) coherent multiversal structure, and an interesting dynamic in which the MC has to confront and hide the fact that, to him, everyone he is coming to know and love were nothing more than fictional stories back in his universe. Fair warning, though, if you couldn't tell from the introduction, the MAIN Fandoms involved in this work will be My Little Pony, with the wider multiverse structure being heavily influenced by the SCP Foundation.

A harem. The harem gets stupidly big. It's kind of a running joke that the MC just has to deal with his ever-growing harem. Also, basically all of the love interests are anthropomorphic. Furries and monster girl enthusiasts will have a good time with this story, I promise you lol.

A proper magic/chi system. It's a medium magic system, meaning that while it has hard-set frameworks, what can be done with it is rather loose. And yes, cultivation is a thing here too.

A logically OP MC. I'm the first to admit the MC is rather overpowered, especially in the beginning. But I find it balances itself out because the MC is working within the confines of the universe's/multiverse's system to gain that power rather than just being granted it intrinsically, and because of the scale of the threats he will inevitably face. He still has room to grow despite his advantages. Also, he's not a dumbass... or well, mostly not a dumbass.

900K words and counting. This is a LONG story. I will try to post one chapter a day until I get caught up on my writing. There will sadly be no consistent upload schedule for this (at least for now), but you should expect at least a few chapters a month.

HFY (Humanity, Fuck Ya!) elements. You love the trope where a human ends up on a primitive or alien world and uses their scientific knowledge and overall human awesomeness to solve problems and save the day? Ya, so do I, and that trope is VERY much evident in this story.
