Killer, Cannibal, King
Synopsis
When a boy becomes a Nephilim, they stop being called human; they lose their rights, their sex, and even their name; they're not a person, anymore; they're a thing, like a beast. Eden-Antoinette knows that, she knows they're not human; Hannibal's ten-times heavier and twice as tall, it's like comparing her to a horse, it's totally not fair; they can pick her up and throw her, like she was nothing but feathers and hair, but one pitch across a living room isn't enough to turn her away.
Hannibal was human, once. Beneath the facade of an indomitable giant, under so much muscle and bone—surely—there's the soul of a man. But when she learns how Hannibal earned their name, she'll have to ask: Is this worth it? Bruised and bloodied, deaf in her ears, she'll fight to exhaustion but to save their life, when there wasn't a shred of humanity to save.
