Synopsis

I’m no stranger to the neon lights and the sound of the arcade. The smell of the food court makes me sick, and I can’t remember the last time I slept in my own bed.

My name’s Dennis Brackner, and I’m the Technology Service Administrator here at Anchorpoint Mall. I spend most of my time making sure the LS01 is fed and that the tenants are doing the feeding. I work for Retail Logic Inc. They are on the cutting edge of retail tech, and it’s my job to keep that edge sharp.

But the routine is becoming a prison. The repetition and the sleepless nights don’t help. Lately, I’ve had trouble making sense of things, but maybe it’s just the insomnia.
