Synopsis

James has spent years in self-imposed exile, content to leave the politics and manastones of The Capitol behind. But when The King summons him back with a cryptic warning — we have torn the fabric of nature, and things have entered through that tear — James finds himself pulled into a mission that threatens to unravel everything he thought he knew about his world, his past, and the nature of reality itself. At the center of it all is a girl who hasn't aged in thirty years, a comet that may not be from this world, and a question James cannot escape: how can you save humanity from itself?
