Star Descent

This story is a mix of Eminence in Shadow and Dimensional Descent - Soft Litrpg elements, Eastern cultivation with kingdom building style thrown in for good measure.

For a young man on modern Earth, the supernatural world was merely a fantasy. Gabriel Morris, much like many others his age, daydreamed of being involved in the supernatural. Imagining himself wielding magical powers or slaying demons with special dual pistols, it was always just that, a daydream. 

His current life was anything but supernatural, ordinary beyond measure, set on the rails heading towards the mundane of adult life. However, all was not destined to be, the mundane rail was about to be utterly de-railed. It all started by accidentally plucking a star.

Unfortunately for Gabriel Morris, he is not the destined one, instead of auto power ups and miraculous perfect timing system gifts, he will have to scrape together a half broken world altering system, with bluffs and his own creativity. 

This is a story about worlds colliding, becoming more then they ever were before. Human life will be up-heaved by the ever increasing descent of monsters from myth and demons of hell. Gabriel will soon find out that trying to put out all the fires by himself is not possible, he will need to build something greater, an organization that will transcend worlds and be the light in the darkness for not just earth but many other planets beset by the descent of otherworldly forces.
