Synopsis
Beryl is a fae missing the one thing that defines his kind: wings.
Since then, life has mostly consisted of surviving bad decisions.
Now he travels with a scatter-brained vampire, a brawny werewolf, and a unicorn who may be the smartest member of the group.
Together, they're bound by debt to a powerful elf. The work is terrible, the pay is worse, and somehow the debt is never settled.
One disastrous job follows another, dragging them through ancient ruins, dangerous magic, angry monsters, and troubles of their own making.
Beryl isn't sure what's more difficult: surviving the next adventure, or figuring out who he is without the thing that once defined him.
